Announcing: The Writing Center's Thesis Workshop Series

The Writing Center is hosting a workshop for writers working on theses, dissertations, specialist projects or any large projects. The workshop, Getting Started, Getting Finished: Understanding the Psychology and Habits of Successful Writing, will be held from 3:00-3:45 pm on Wednesday, March 5 in Cherry Hall 126.  The workshop explains typical attitudes and behaviors that prevent writers from progressing on their projects as well as attitudes and practices that sustain writing progress. Writers will also be helped to diagnose problem areas in their writing practice and identify strategies that will work better.

If you are a student who could use a little help keeping the momentum going on writing projects, then this is an event for you. For those who are interested but unable to attend, the event will be recorded (courtesy of DELO) and a video will be added to the previous videos available from our ongoing series on the webpage “Writing Center Resources for Thesis Writers."

We hope to see you there!
